Sampling any of the base(s) you send in takes 1700ml per aged sample, so please send in quantities that meet or exceed this amount. If you have different bases, you may want to send more than one 1700ml base sample - for instance, brandies or rums or agaves, wines, etc......same thing, 1700ml per sample. Check out how each one tastes, add to the discussions we are having.
An extremely important aspect of these sampling steps is communication as to what sort of flavor direction you would like a sample to take - the patent-pending process is capable of a very large range of flavor profile possibilities, and guidance from you is critical. As you know, in traditional barrel-aging about the only "flavor profile" you get to choose is uncharred or Char #1 through Char #4, and that's not very much in the way of diversity. However, in our aging process there are uncounted flavor profile possibilities and, without proper communication, it is nearly a guarantee that we can't read your mind as to what you want. Perhaps include a small 100ml sample of what you would like to help guide our aged sample. Please keep in mind that we aren't in the business of exactly duplicating a customer's flavor sample, that's a whole other sort of effort that would require time and money and a bit more base than 1700ml to figure out. Any flavor sample that you provide will simply be used as a guide for initial sampling purposes.
Another sampling option is to not indicate anything at all, and let us age a range of flavor profiles so you can begin to see the range of possibilities (i.e., new labels) that are open to you.
Again, please note: This sampling procedure step is not an effort to exactly duplicate something you have in mind, or a 100ml flavor sample that is sent in as an initial guideline; that is not the purpose of this step. The purpose of this step is to show that the aging process works as stated. One of the best ways to show that it works as stated is for a single base to be aged in multiple and different ways, especially ways that a traditional charred oak barrel cannot produce.
In the end, the more you sample and the broader the range of these samples, the more you'll learn about the possibilities of this patent-pending process with your base.
If the sampling step finds favor and you would like to move towards licensing the aging process system, then the next step would be to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement to protect our Company's intellectual property, and to also complete a Letter of Intent summarizing what we are both contemplating and agreeing to do, respectively, based on our discussions.
Based on successful completion of the above steps, Execution of the Licensing Contract would be the next step.
Then you would be off and running towards your very own alcoholic beverage aging system! And exploring a truly new world of possibilities, one that is fun, easy, and profitable.
In the event that you would want any of the Additional Services that may be offered, we would outline in a separate agreement what those requested Services may be and what the financial arrangement would be for said services.
